Andrew to Audrey
If you call it
modernization,
You are not aware of
Andrew’s determination,
If you call it
desperation,
Then you missed his
aspiration,
He sued a commission
for his examination,
He wanted a changed
destination.
Audrey, or call him
Andrew,
Had on his mind for some
time knew,
He needed to rise
early and hit the morning dew,
To accomplish all his
desires when time was due,
Unfortunately for some
reasons the chances were few,
But he discovered that he
needed something really new.
What compels one to
change sex,
Could it be due to
someone vex,
It’s all against the
holy book,
To even change a person’s
look,
But time has brought
us wonder,
It’s a misery not
ending sooner.
It takes a lot of
courage,
For a person to
embrace change,
It needs a lions
heart,
To ignore the press
and the court,
It’s amazing what
people become,
Especially when they
travel and are gone.
But who are we to
judge,
It’s their business
to satisfy their urge,
Should we therefore
just sit on the fence?
Since in the holy
books it’s an offense?
Where are the old
teachings?
Or is the teacher the
one changes?
