Our 7th Valentines Together!
Years back, young with pure innocence, 
‘Today’ made sense much more,
I had known you for some time,
I decided to give it a chance,
I knew it came with a huge accountability,
To you, I still wanted to be a Lady,
I trusted the love I felt,
However, I felt it was risky to trust.

We made some big decisions,
I remember after a thrilling romance, 
We went out with only a few shillings,
It was my first ‘Valentines’,
It was with you,
It was ‘us’ two,
Memorable and big in my heart,
Because what you felt for me, I felt in my heart.

You said a man’s love is stronger,
I giggled and burst into laughter,
You said sweet words to me,
Today I know they were real,
I like the way you smile,
Moreover, how your lips curl,
You have taken my heart away,
I appreciate it in a big way.

I adore your style,
How you do big things and nothing at all,
There is an incredible meaning in every small thing about you,
It has defined us two,
It is the ‘you’ inside,
Made me choose the lakeside,
It will forever be my home,
I am confident you will stand by me.
I know that I can count on you,
I’m certain our love will always be new,
When you got sick recently I freaked,
It was hard,
I want you healthy,
I want your face shiny,
I want your lips smiley,
I want your hands touchy,
I want your eyes glittery,
I want your body beside mine daily.

I need you to promise me things,
I want to know you will always be here for decades,
Let us laugh as we always do,
Let us cuddle as we always do,
Let us shower together as we always do,
Let us share a plate of food forever,
Let our love grow stronger,
And even when we are older,
‘I LOVE YOU’ will still sound the SAME
Because you will FOREVER BE MINE.
