Poetry: We are fighting

We are fighting
My husband and my love, just listen,
Here we are once again, we are fighting,
You find fault and we fight and we love,
Just listen, please listen,
I am one, just one girl, why is this,
I love me, I love you, I hate this,
We are fighting, please calm down,
I’ am a girl, I will talk, just listen.

If you knew, how much love, I posses,
You would stay, hear me talk, roll my eyes,
Because at night, it is you, it is me, in this love,
Stop fighting, I’m your wife, your pure love,
That’s what counts; give me your back,
You have mine, since years back,
You can cry, you can laugh, I’ll be here,
I’m your wife, and your rock, and your life,

So come down, I will make all your days, forever,
It’s just a phase, of a girl, to always talk over and over,
Stop fighting, inside me, all I know is your love,
I think you, I dream you, I know you, and you’re my life,
So let me be, but listen, don’t get mad, It’s just me,
Your little girl, the tender girl, your forever valentine,
So calm down, no more fights, all I say is a joke,

It’s all fun, about your head, about your nose, is all a joke.

Slaves It is because you don’t see me, You don’t value me, I try to see, But your wrath blinds me, I cry for help from up above, But your supremacy and authority chain me, My children are hungry and almost to die, But you have taken away my wife, You have made their nurse a sex slave, I’m around just waiting for the next stage, The separation of my children when my smile shall fade. Dave waited to see how the public would receive the outcome of the tally. He knew that if anyone were the first to react, they would be from the city, the aggrieved, the determined for a revolution, the Daves.
